Project:

Replacement of open fire and fireplace. Installation of freestanding gas stove to new brick-lined recess with stone hearth and wooden mantel

Products and Materials:

Gazco Huntingdon 30 gas stove – matt black, tracery door, log effect, manual control

Derbyshire Gritstone hearth (30mm)

Deep beam solid oak mantel

Brick slips pre-tiled onto heat proof fibre board

150mm flue liner & stainless-steel bird guard suspension cowl

Budget:

Scope of Works:

Remove existing fireplace

Open chimney breast to suit a gas stove installation

Supply and install concrete lintel

Inspect & sweep chimney

Test gas supply pipe & alter to suit new appliance – conceal under floor/ hearth

Supply and install flue liner and bird guard suspension cowl

Supply and install steel register plate

Supply and install hearth

Supply and install brick slips to line fireplace recess (pre-tiled onto heat proof fibre boards)

Supply and install connecting flue pipe

Supply and install gas stove

Supply and install oak mantel

Replace missing skirting board (match with existing)

Make good plaster & skim finish the front of chimney breast

Commission installation

Supply and install CO alarm

Customer handover & demonstration

Gas Safe Register Installation Certificate
