GP80/55C is a closed gas fire corner model offering a view of the fire from two different angles. The glass corner model may face either to the left (L) or the right (R). The Kalfire GP range includes corner models in various glass sizes.

Kalfire’s closed gas fires stand out for their clean, streamlined design, free of a distracting metal frame around the glass. This offers a clear view of the fire from all angles. The full range covers front-facing, corner, three-sided, double-sided tunnel and three-sided tunnel or room-dividing models.

The patented Prestige burner of the Kalfire GP range is integrated directly within highly realistic ceramic logs, which are stacked in a pyramid. This results in high, blazing flames that leap directly from the logs, giving an unparalleled impression of a wood fire.

One of the latest innovations developed by Kalfire’s R&D team is the Natural Spark Generator (NSG) – this technology is available as an option in all gas fires that feature a Prestige burner. The NSG creates small sparks that escape from the flames and burn out slowly, resulting in an amazingly realistic simulation of a wood fire.

With Prestige burners, a hybrid function can be added to include LED lighting in the fire bed. When this function is activated, the lighting intensity fluctuates continuously perfectly imitating a bed of embers in a wood-burning fireplace. A further advantage of this feature is that it allows a convivial atmosphere to be created during warmer periods when heat is not required, without having to switch on the fire itself. Kalfire fires are designed to improve living spaces all year round.

Kalfire offers lots of options to personalise each gas fire according to interior décor and taste. The interior of a fireplace is a key element of its style, impacting its appearance even when it is not in use. As a backdrop to the fire, it can provide contrast or even reflect and amplify the play of the flames. Kalfire closed gas fires offer a choice of three different types of interior: the standard is a minimalist interior with a flat surface. Alternatives include black ceramic glass or a ridged design.

The iMatch remote control supplied as standard with every model allows control of the gas fire with ease. There are eight standard settings to control on/off and adjustment of flame height plus a special ECO setting; this energy saving setting automatically makes the flame level fluctuate, which considerably reduces gas consumption by up to 40% compared with the highest setting.

Kalfire gas fires also have an option of including a receiver that works in tandem with a free downloadable Kalfire iMatch application, allowing control of the gas fire from a smartphone or tablet. This can also be integrated into a home automation (domotics) system.
