The compact C810 series of stoves are designed for easy positioning in any interior, with a large door that features a tall glass pane for maximum flame visibility. Beautifully framed by the discreet side panels, the generous glass creates a bright and energising effect as the light from the room and the heat from the fire blend together.

The C810 series offers multiple style and function options: three different colours (white, grey and black), three different tops (painted aluminium, glass or soapstone), two different doors (cast iron or glass). The C810W wall-mounted version creates a floating and lively stove option which can also be mounted in a corner.

The C810 Style model has a cast iron door, available with black or grey exterior, which works with all types of interior. The alternative C810G Style model has a tough glass door offering a modern, timeless style.  The C810G is available in a choice of black or grey exterior, with a painted, glass (black only) or soapstone top.

Prolonged heating can be provided with a soapstone top, a naturally heat retaining material which remains warm long after the embers have died. Soapstone, has a unique natural veining, which means no stoves appear the same.

The integrated handles in the front of the stove are designed to be cool-to-touch and do not get hot. A practical compartment with door (fitted as standard) under the stove keeps logs, gloves and matches in order. Adjustable feet ensure the stove is level on uneven floors.

In the rear of the stove there is an extra duct system for spreading preheated combustion air. The system is called Clean Burning and is activated by sliding the control on the front to the left. The stove burns efficiently and for long periods resulting in a combustion with very low particle concentrations.

An ingenious Automatic Start Function automatically controls the lighting air through the grate. It means that the door can be shut at the same time that the start-up fire is lit and the stove therefore becomes completely independent of room air. Which means it feels safer not having to leave the stove with an open door during the start-up fire.

With the Refuelling Boost Function you can ”save” embers that have nearly died. You just open the handle on the left, new oxygen flows in from below and brings out the embers so that the new wood catches light. After a short time you can once again enjoy a beautiful fire and heating.

Thanks to its design and damping function, Contura’s new Silent Sliding Ashtray slides quietly and softly during emptying.

The optional Contura turntable provides stepless rotation through 360 degrees and is compatible with stoves in the Contura 500, 600 and 800 series. The turning angle and the speed of rotation are adjustable. Mounted on a turntable, the fire becomes visible everywhere. Simply turning it directs the heat and light your way.

Contura floor protection is available in black or grey sheet metal or transparent, toughened glass. In addition to being attractive and protecting the floor they are easy to remove for cleaning.
